MAKING THE FIRST LOOP

 

The first loop of yarn is your first stitch, from

which all your other stitches are knitted.

CASTING ON

 

This is how you create your first row of stitches. The technique in this video is called 'knitting on' and is one of the easiest methods.

KNIT STITCH

This technique uses the knit stitch to reduce the number of stitches in the row. It

is used for shaping knitting.
